Bus Routes

Bus routes are developed by First Student using advanced software designed to create efficient bus stop locations and estimate ride times. This software utilizes data such as student addresses and school locations to determine optimal routes and stops. The pick-up and drop-off times provided for your child are approximate. Given that various factors outside the driver's control—such as traffic delays, accidents, construction, or weather conditions—can impact these times, we strongly encourage families to arrive at the bus stop at least five minutes early both in the morning and the afternoon. Buses may occasionally run slightly ahead of or behind schedule. To avoid missing the bus, it is essential that you and your student arrive at the stop early, ensuring a smooth start and end to the school day.

Please note that bus routes may be adjusted as the school year progresses to maintain efficiency. Should a route change affect your student, you will be notified in writing. First Student also makes adjustments to stops as needed to address safety concerns. While routing software is thorough, it cannot always predict issues such as construction or other factors that might render a bus stop unsafe. Drivers report such concerns to their supervisors, who will make the necessary adjustments. Confluence Academies also reviews bus routes and communicates any concerns to First Student for further evaluation and adjustments. If you have any concerns about your child's bus route, please contact the transportation specialist at your school or the Transportation and Facilities Coordinator at the Confluence Academies Resource Office.
