Parents of Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergartners

For the safety and well-being of your child, we have a strict policy regarding the release of pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students from the school bus. A parent or guardian must be present at the designated bus stop in order for the student to be released. If a parent or guardian is not present, the student will not be allowed to disembark. We kindly ask that you arrive on time to meet your child after school to ensure a smooth and safe transition.

Additionally, we would like to remind parents and guardians that it is a violation of Missouri state law for anyone other than authorized school staff and students to board a school bus. Confluence Academies, in partnership with First Student, will strictly enforce this policy in accordance with state law. Specifically, Missouri state statute 569.155.2, Trespass of a School Bus, outlines that unauthorized boarding of a school bus is classified as a Class A misdemeanor. This offense carries the possibility of a penalty of up to one year of imprisonment, with the determination of punishment being at the discretion of the court. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to ensure the safety of all our students.
